Inspired by the trendy French restaurants enjoyed during her travels to Lebanon in the late 1950s, Grandma Janet recreated several fondue sauces from memory to share with her family and friends as a fond reminder of travels gone by.

Passed down for three generations, these recipes inspired grandson, Alan Wetsel, to revive the "fondue party" with his family and friends. He made all five of her sauces that he remembered from childhood, but one particular sauce was always the first to disappear. "Make some of the sauce" became a standard request at every gathering. Friends and dinner guests soon began to request the sauce anytime food was served.

Now known as WetselSauce Original, it has become a must-have in kitchens across America due to its unique flavor and versatility. We are happy to share it with you. Enjoy!
